As summer moves on and fall sets in, the Mississippi Lottery Corporation is bringing plenty of games for the new season.
Next month, the MLC will launch three additional scratch-offs that will be available statewide. The new games offer chances to win cash prizes up to $100,000 and bring the MLC’s total number of scratch-off games to nearly 85.
Here’s what’s falling into players’ hands beginning Tuesday, Oct. 7:
- Lucky Numbers ($1) is a classic key number match style game with top prizes of $5,000. Reveal a “2X” symbol and double your prize instantly.
- BINGO Night ($3) is an extended play game with top prizes of $30,000. Find a “3X” symbol in any winning pattern, and you’ll triple the prize for that card.
- Cash Money ($5) offers multiple ways to win and top prizes of $100,000. Find a “MONEY BAG” symbol to instantly win the prize show, a “5X” symbol to multiply the prize by five, or a “STACK OF COINS” in the bonus spot and an extra, instant win.
Even if players can’t stay cool with the three newest games, they can enter their non-winning tickets for a chance to win through the lottery’s second-chance program.
Mega Millions nears half a billion
The jackpot for the Mega Millions is now at a whopping $497 million with an estimated cash value of $229.5 million heading into Tuesday night’s drawing. Mississippians have had luck as of recent playing the national game with two people notching $1 million-plus prizes last month.
Mega Millions tickets are $5 and include an automatic multiplier, increasing non-jackpot prizes up to five times. Tickets can be purchased any time before the 10 p.m. drawing.
