Pounders is rated as the 14th best prospect in Mississippi by 247 Sports. He picked the Bulldogs over offers from Ole Miss, LSU, Arkansas, and Florida State. Pounders is Mississippi State’s 7th commitment for the 2021 class, now ranked 33rd nationally.
