For the 16th season in a row, Mississippi State had no answer for Alabama, as the Crimson Tide rolled all over Davis Wade Stadium in a 40-17 win over the Bulldogs.

The Tide took full advantage of three Will Rogers interceptions, returning one for a touchdown. Rogers finished 15 of 27 passing for 107 yards and one touchdown to go along with those three picks. State was held to 261 yards but did score more on the Crimson Tide than they had in any matchup since 2017.

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe continued the streak of 80% plus completion percentage against the Bulldog defense, hitting on 10 of 12 passes for 164 yards. He added another 69 yards on the ground with two scores. As a team, the Tide rushed for 193 yards against the Bulldog defense.

State falls to 2-3 on the season, and 0-3 in SEC play. The Bulldogs will be back in action Saturday against Western Michigan. Kickoff is scheduled for 11 a.m.
