In central Mississippi, mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 90’s. Heat index readings from 102 to 107. Cloudy to partly cloudy tonight with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, then a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the lower to mid 70’s.

To the south, mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 90’s. Heat index readings from 100 to 103. Partly cloudy tonight with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, then a slight chance of showers after midnight. Lows in the lower to mid 70’s.
