In central Mississippi, patchy morning fog, otherwise partly sunny with a chance of showers and slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning. Showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 80’s with a heat index reading near 102. Cloudy tonight with a chance of showers and thunderstorms, and a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the lower 70’s.

To the south, patchy morning fog, then partly sunny with a chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning. Showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 80’s with a heat index reading near 103. Cloudy tonight with lows in the lower 70’s.
