Mississippi Weather Outlook – Tuesday, February 18th

Today will be another rainy day across the state.

North Mississippi – This morning, expect showers that will continue into the afternoon with highs in the lower 60s. Tonight, temperatures will drop to the lower 40s with light rain.

Central Mississippi – As flood concerns continue, there will a chance of showers in the morning which could become thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 60s. Tonight, the chance of thunderstorms remains with the lows near 50.

According to the NWS, the region could get anywhere between 1-2 inches of rain which could affect the ongoing flooding of the Pearl River.

South Mississippi –  You’ll get the same showers and chance of thunderstorms with highs in the lower 70s. Night Time brings more of the same with lows in the upper 50s.
