With the state’s largest car show right around the corner, the Mississippi Lottery Corporation is celebrating in fitting fashion.
Beginning Aug. 5, lottery players can find newly designed Cruisin’ the Coast-themed scratchers at retailers statewide. The two-dollar game allows players to scratch off car artwork to reveal different symbols with the maximum win being $25,000. Four different cartoon hot rods will be featured on this year’s tickets.
Players who reveal an odometer symbol will rev their way to a doubled prize.
“Back for another joyride, the 2025 edition of Cruisin’ the Coast Mississippi Lottery tickets celebrates the beloved annual event held along the Mississippi Gulf Coast,” a press release from the Mississippi Lottery Corporation reads.
This year’s edition of Cruisin’ the Coast is scheduled to begin Oct. 5 and last through Oct. 12. The show, which has found an annual spot atop USA Today’s best-of competitions, attracts thousands of cars and even more people every year and is considered “America’s largest block party.”
For those not looking to get an early start to Cruisin’ but still want to play the lottery, the Mississippi Lottery Corporation announced a pair of other new games set to debut next month.
- Cash on Spot ($1): A classic ticket offering a top prize of $5,000. Reveal a money-stack symbol to win double the prize shown.
- Break the Bank ($5): A ticket aptly described through its name, the maximum win sits at $100,000. A coins symbol is an automatic win, a dollar-bill symbol quadruples the prize, and a vault symbol in the bonus spot is another instant win.
