Mississippi’s Second Amendment Tax Free Weekend is Underway

Hunting season will be here before you know it, so if you need hunting supplies or firearms, this is the weekend to make those purchases.

The Mississippi Second Amendment Sales Tax Holiday runs now through midnight on Sunday.

As passed during the 2014 Legislative Session, sales tax is not due during the holiday on the sale of firearms, ammunition, and certain hunting supplies.  Hunting Supplies include archery equipment, firearm and archery cases, firearm and archery accessories, hearing protection, holsters, belts, and slings.
