MSDH confirms 3,303 new COVID-19 cases in weekly report

On Tuesday the Mississippi State Department of Health confirmed 3,902 new COVID-19 cases.

The seven-day update brings the state’s total number of recorded cases since the onset of the pandemic to 977,790. With 34 additional deaths, 13,225 Mississippians have passed away as a result of the virus. Additionally, there are currently 118 ongoing outbreaks in long-term care facilities.

Mississippi is currently averaging 488 daily cases, which is a 41% decrease from two weeks ago.
