MSDH reports 1,146 new COVID-19 cases

The Mississippi State Department of Health has confirmed 1,146 new cases of COVID-19.

Tuesday’s report brings the state’s total number of cases to 832,212. With four additional deaths, the number of Mississippians who have passed as a result of the virus is now 12,516. In addition, there are currently 153 ongoing outbreaks in long-term care facilities.

As of June 21, the total number of Mississippians who are fully vaccinated is 1,554,082.
