MSDH reports 1,844 new COVID-19 cases

COVID-19 is continuing to spread across the magnolia state according to the Mississippi State Department’s latest report confirming 1,844 new cases.

Thursday’s report brings the state’s total number of cases to 843,191. With no additional deaths, the complete number of Mississippians who have passed as a result of the virus stands at 12,543. In addition, there are currently 176 ongoing outbreaks in long-term care facilities.

As of July 5, the total number of Mississippians who have been fully vaccinated is 1,556,753.
