MSDH reports 4,075 new COVID-19 cases in weekly report

For the second week in a row, the Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) has reported over 4,000 cases of COVID-19.

On Tuesday, the MSDH confirmed 4,075 new cases along with 14 deaths induced by COVID-19. The seven-day update brings the state’s total number of recorded cases since the onset of the pandemic to 955,145. 13,097 Mississippians have now passed away due to the virus.

Mississippi is currently averaging 552 cases per day, which is a 14% increase from two weeks ago.
