MSU’s Hill won’t play unless flag changes

On Monday morning, Tate Reeves tweeted that a two-flag solution isn’t a “viable alternative” when it comes to changing the state flag, and Mississippi State running back Kylin Hill voiced his opinion in a reply to the first-term governor.

Hill wrote, “Either change the flag or I won’t be representing this State anymore & I mean that .. I’m tired.”

Just last Friday, the NCAA announced that no Mississippi universities will be allowed to host postseason events until the state’s flag is amended.

Hill, arguably the best returning back in the SEC, accounted for 1,350 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground last season and looks to be the face of a new era of Mississippi State football—if and only if the state of Mississippi decides to remove the current flag.
