The National Guard Association of Mississippi (NGAMS) has launched an effort to give the public a chance to show its support for the Mississippi National Guard.
The recently announced Mississippi Patriot Specialty License Plate would allow residents in the Magnolia State to display their patriotism and support for the men and women of the Mississippi National Guard. The plate includes a military-inspired design that incorporates the outline of the state of Mississippi.
However, according to the NGAMS, 300 commitments are required before the specialty plates can be produced and made available for purchase. NGAMS is asking for current and former members of the Mississippi National Guard, veterans, military families, and supporters of the NGAMS to commit to the campaign.
“Mississippians have always had a tremendous appreciation for the men and women who serve our state and nation,” NGAMS stated. “The Mississippi Patriot plate gives our members and supporters an opportunity to carry that pride with them everywhere they go while helping strengthen the work of our association.”
