Mississippi lottery players will soon get a chance to play a popular game show on scratch-off tickets.
The Mississippi Lottery Corporation announced that, beginning as soon as May 5, “Wheel of Fortune” scratchers will be available at retailers statewide. Not only does it offer top prizes up to $200,000, but losing tickets can be entered for a shot at a free trip to Los Angeles.
“Get ready to spin big this May as the Mississippi Lottery launches three new Wheel of Fortune scratch-off games by Tuesday, May 5,” an announcement from MLC reads. “With exciting play action, multipliers and top prizes up to $200,000, these games bring the iconic game show experience straight to Mississippi players.”
Those who don’t win through the game’s three tiers – $2, $5, and $10 tickets – can enter their losing tickets into the MLC’s 2nd Chance portal for a shot at more than $250,000 in cash prizes plus the chance to win a Hollywood trip that includes tickets to a live taping of “Wheel of Fortune.”
Here’s a look at the new game spinning into stores:
- $2 – Wheel of Fortune: The ticket offers a top prize of $25,000. Scratch off a stack of cash symbols to instantly win the prize shown or a 2X symbol to double the winnings.
- $5 – Wheel of Fortune: The ticket offers top prizes of $100,000. Scratch off a stack of cash symbols for an instant win or a 5X symbol to multiply the prize by five.
- $10 – Wheel of Fortune: The ticket offers top prizes of $200,000. Scratch off a stack of cash symbols to instantly win the prize shown or find a 5X or 10X symbol to boost winnings even higher.
