The Ole Miss women’s basketball team is advancing in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2007 after dominating Gonzaga 71-48 Friday night.

On the way to victory over the 9-seed Bulldogs (28-5), the 8-seed Rebels (24-8) made program history on both offense and defense. Not only did Ole Miss break a program NCAA Tournament record in fewest points allowed, but the team also knocked down a program-best seven three-pointers.

Leading the way for the Rebels in scoring were Snudda Collins (15 points), Angel Baker (11 points), and Madison Scott (11 points). Baker also added 10 rebounds for her 11th double-double of the season.

Next up will be a Sunday night matchup against Stanford at 8:30 p.m. CT.
