You can just tell that football is right around the corner in Mississippi. The evidence? Ole Miss fans flocked to social media in anticipation of the team’s latest addition to its uniform arsenal after the program posted multiple teasers to get the masses amped up for a grand announcement.
On Thursday, the program unveiled its newest helmet concept, a gray and white one with red “Ole Miss” lettering that was done in partnership with outdoor apparel company Realtree. The new lids, which included stickers honoring slain Ole Miss defensive end Corey Adams, will be on display in the Rebels’ November 1 home matchup against South Carolina.

This is not the first time Ole Miss has made uniform alterations in the Lane Kiffin era — and it likely won’t be the last.
Once Kiffin took over in Oxford, brand recognition became a priority for the program. Ole Miss got things going by introducing highly anticipated powder blue jerseys to kick off the head coach’s inaugural season at the helm. Since then, the program has not looked back and has tinkered with multiple uniform concepts, adding a series of new helmet designs, and even a white road jersey with powder blue numbers.
Ole Miss will begin the 2025 campaign against Georgia State at home in just nine days. The team’s full schedule can be found here.
