An Olive Branch preacher and teacher has been arrested on child exploitation charges.

30-year-old Kyle Hilleary was taken into custody by the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday, November 7, and received a $250,000 bond.

Prior to his arrest, Hilleary had been serving as a pastor of Cedar View Baptist Church since 2015 and working as a church planter of Harmony Baptist Fellowship in Byhalia.

The husband and father of two had also been employed as a physical education teacher and a middle and high school teacher at Cross Creek Academy for the past three years.

His profiles and pictures have been removed from the websites of both employers.

Hilleary has since bonded out of the jail.
