With the holiday season quickly approaching, Operation Christmas Child is back and looking for your help.

The annual project organized by Samaritan’s Purse is now collecting shoeboxes filled with toys, hygiene items, and school supplies. Upon drop off, the gift-filled shoeboxes will be delivered to children in more than 170 countries and territories across the globe.

“This season, children around the world need a tangible reminder that there is hope and that God loves them,” said Franklin Graham, president of Samaritan’s Purse. “Through these shoebox gifts packed with special items, children also receive the opportunity to hear about the eternal hope found in Jesus Christ.”

For those interested in participating in Operation Christmas Child this year, the deadline to pack a shoebox and deliver it to a drop-off spot near you is Monday, November 21. For step-by-step instructions on how to pack a shoebox, click here.
