Over $1 million in lottery jackpots still unclaimed in Mississippi

Several large prizes from the Powerball and Mega Millions lotteries are still unclaimed, with one $50,008 jackpot set to expire in less than one week.

The winning ticket, which was sold at Kroger #472 on Colony Crossing in Madison, matched all five numbers during the Powerball drawing on November 2, 2022.

Other outstanding prizes that have not been collected include a $1 million jackpot from the April 3 Powerball drawing. The ticket was sold at Sprint Mart #27 on Highway 72 West in Corinth and has until September 30 before it expires.

Another $50,000 Powerball jackpot has also gone unclaimed after matching the winning numbers during the Powerball drawing on November 19, 2022. The patron, who purchased the ticket at Bridges Quickie #1 on Highway 469 South in Florence, has until May 18 to collect the prize money.

Here’s a list of outstanding prizes that have yet to be claimed for the Mega Millions drawing:

  • $30,000: A winning ticket for the Jan. 10 drawing was sold at Tobacco Mart on Highway 51, Brookhaven. Ticket expires July 9, 2023.
  • $30,000: A winning ticket for the Jan. 17 drawing was sold at Circle K on Bienville Boulevard, Ocean Springs. Ticket expires July 16, 2023.
  • $10,000: A winning ticket for the March 28 drawing was sold at Main Street Junction on West Beacon Street, Philadelphia. Ticket expires Sept. 24, 2023.
