Palmer Home presents 8th annual Radiothon

Since 2013, SuperTalk Mississippi has used its annual “Radiothon” to raise money for Palmer Home for Children.

SuperTalk dedicates one day of air time each year to personal testimonies from the children, staff, and supporters of Palmer Home, and over the past seven years, $1.5 million has been raised for Mississippi children in need.

“We look forward to working with SuperTalk Mississippi each summer,” Palmer Home President Drake Bassett said. “Because we are a privately funded organization, we rely solely on our supporters to help us reach more children. Partners like SuperTalk allow us to not only raise needed funding but raise awareness throughout the state.”

While 2020 has been the definition of unprecedented, the Radiothon will go on! The date will be Thursday, July 23rd, and between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., you can tune in to not only find out more about Palmer Home but have a chance to donate to the children.

“We are excited to be a part of another Palmer Home Radiothon,” Telesouth Media CEO Kim Dillon said. “For the eighth year, we are partnering with them in support of their mission which has held its doors open to children in need of love and support for over 120 years. Our state is known as one of the most giving states, and I encourage everyone to join us in helping to keep Palmer Home’s purpose of helping others alive for years to come.”

Listeners are encouraged to keep up with the conversation throughout the day by tuning in to one of the 12 SuperTalk stations or through /connect.

To donate during the 2020 Radiothon, please call (662)469-5533 or go to palmerhome.org/donate.
