Palmer Home presents 8th annual Radiothon on July 23

This upcoming Thursday, July 23, SuperTalk Mississippi will host its 8th annual Radiothon, benefitting Palmer Home for Children.

Over the duration of The Gallo Show, The JT Show, Good Things, and SportsTalk Mississippi, children, staff, alumni, and supporters will not only share their personal testimonies but provide insight into the impact of Palmer Home and what the future looks like for the organization.

“We look forward to working with SuperTalk each summer,” Palmer Home President/CEO Drake Bassett said. “Because we are a privately funded organization, we rely solely on our supporters to help us reach more children. Partners like SuperTalk allow us to not only raise needed funding but raise awareness throughout the state.”

Over the past seven years, $1.5 million has been raised for the children of Palmer Home with 2019 bringing in a total of $300,000. The goal for 2020—a year that has been the epitome of unprecedented—is to exceed that number.

“We are excited to be part of another Palmer Home Radiothon,” Telesouth Media President/CEO Kim Dillon said. “For the eighth year, we are partnering with them in support of their mission which has held its doors open as one of the most giving states, and I encourage everyone to join us in helping keep Palmer Home’s purpose of helping others alive for years to come.”

Listeners are invited to keep up with the conversation throughout the day by tuning in to 1 of 12 SuperTalk stations or by visiting /connect. Highlights throughout the day can be found on any of our social media sites—Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.

To make donations during the Radiothon, you can call (662)469-5533 or visit Another great way to donate is through our online silent auction. From signed sports memorabilia to a relaxing four night stay in Gatlinburg, this auction has it all.
