Law enforcement in Pearl is investigating an apparent murder-suicide attempt.
The Pearl Police Department said it is investigating an incident that occurred Thursday afternoon. The names of those involved have not been announced at this time. Authorities said limited information is being released to protect the assessment of the incident.
“Investigators are continuing to gather evidence and information surrounding the circumstances of the incident,” the Pearl Police Department stated. “Additional details will be released when appropriate and when doing so will not compromise the ongoing investigation.”
More details are expected to be released once officials can determine the facts surrounding the fatality and reported attempted suicide.
