Perry of the State Health Board looks to keep medical marijuana illegal

Jim Perry of the State Board of Health made an appearance on today’s episode of The Gallo Show to talk about why the medicinal use of marijuana in Mississippi should stay illegal.

“According to the surgeon general and many others, there is no such thing as medical marijuana,” Perry said. “There is marijuana, and there are some people that claim that it can be used for medicinal purposes, but we heard the same thing out of the cigarette industry and ‘Big Tobacco’ in the 1950s.”
