The Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) is looking for an individual who left supervision earlier this afternoon.
Dennis Blansett (MDOC#216595) was on a work detail for the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) at about 1:09 p.m. and was last seen in the area of Highway 51 three miles north of Bogue Chitto.
Blansett, 46, stands at 5 feet 8 inches and weighs 160 pounds. He has hazel eyes and gray hair.
Blansett is housed at the Pike County Community Work Center. His record includes convictions on five counts of non-residential burglary and one count of taking a motor vehicle.
