A Gulfport woman is charged with aggravated assault for purposely hitting another woman with her car on Monday, according to police.
24-year-old Jaelyn Marie Breaux was arguing with the victim in the area of Orange Grove Road and Highway 49 after 3:30 p.m. Police say, as the victim began to walk away, Breaux accelerated her vehicle, turned the wheel, and purposely hit them, then put her vehicle in reverse and fled the scene.
The individual she hit hasn’t been identified.
She was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center, where she is being held in place of a $100,000 bond.
