A threat of a potential shooting phoned into Kosciusko High School prompted a brief lockdown at area schools.
School officials reported that the call was made Thursday morning. Law enforcement rushed to the scene, and precautionary measures were taken to ensure the safety of staff and students. All educational facilities in the Kosciusko School District were placed on lockdown.
The schools returned to regular operations after authorities determined that there was no imminent danger. An investigation is underway to find the source of the threat.
No arrests have been announced at this time.
