With the legislature working to disburse the remaining $900 million of the CARES Act funding, Mississippi Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley highly encourages lawmakers to prioritize the expansion of broadband across the state.
“This comes down to whether or not we want to see Mississippi move into the 21st century and be connected to the outside world and whether or not we save the people who are living in rural communities.”
