Public Service Commissioner talks No-Call Law, Energy Efficiency Day 2020

On Wednesday, the Mississippi Public Service Commission announced that five companies have been charged in over 78 alleged violations of the Mississippi No-Call Law.

“We recently issued down, I think, approximately 78 indictments on five companies that had done illicit, illegal telemarketing in the state of Mississippi.” Public Service Commissioner Brent Bailey said on Thursday’s episode of The JT Show. “We potentially could collect up to $510,000.”

Bailey, who serves the state’s central district, also talked about Energy Efficiency Day 2020 and what benefits, from pollution to job creation, can come about from being energy efficient day.
