Rep. Lamar on returning to the capitol, lawsuit against governor

The Mississippi State Legislature will be reconvening today at 1 p.m. as the budget for the fiscal year 2021 not only lacks an education portion, after Governor Tate Reeves decided to veto it, but it didn’t leave any room for the Department of Marine Resources.

Representative Trey Lamar made an appearance on today’s episode of The Gallo Show to talk about what lawmakers will be prioritizing when they return to Jackson. He also provides some insight into the lawsuit that was recently brought up by the House against the governor.
