A repossession worker is confirmed to have been shot while on a DeSoto County job over the weekend.
Law enforcement officials in Horn Lake report that an unidentified male victim was struck by gunfire while in the process of repossessing an automobile near the Home Depot on Interstate Boulevard. The incident occurred on Sunday around 5 p.m.
After being shot, the victim is said to have driven himself to Baptist DeSoto Hospital. He was promptly rushed to a medical facility in nearby Memphis and is reported to be in critical condition.
Investigators are assessing the scene to gather additional details surrounding the shooting. At this time, no suspect has been identified by police, nor have any arrests been made.
