Top will be joined on stage in Brandon by Andy Buckner, a former contestant on The Voice now trying to sing his way up the country music charts. Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. CT.
Best known for “I Never Lie,” and “Bad Luck,” Top exploded onto the scene in Nashville in early 2024 and hasn’t looked back. His “Sounds Like the Radio” served as the lead single to his debut album Cold Beer & Country Music and quickly became the most-added song on impact by radio stations across the U.S.
Top was subsequently named new male artist of the year by the Academy of Country Music. He is currently working on his sophomore album called Ain’t In It For My Health, which is set to be released on Aug. 29.
The country artist’s most recent Mississippi performance occurred at the Mississippi Coliseum during the Dixie National Rodeo back in February. Top, who stated that he was sick during the concert, said he intended to refund the tickets of fans who attended the show.
The Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce, which oversees the annual rodeo, sent the following statement to SuperTalk Mississippi News regarding the singer’s comments, “We are working with the artist and his agent to get more clarification on his comment, and we will provide further information when it becomes available.”
