A Saucier man has been arrested for allegedly getting a 12-year-old pregnant.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office received a report that Kurtis Emmert, 36, had impregnated a juvenile. Deputies then took Emmert into custody on Sunday and charged him with one felony count of touching a child for lustful purposes.
Emmert was booked in the Harrison County Adult Detention Facility in Gulfport on a $250,000 bond.
Officials say the investigation remains active with further charges possible.
