Silver Star Hotel and Casino in Philadelphia has called off a planned closure this week.
Officials announced that the Nov. 24-26 shutdown will no longer take place, meaning the venue will be fully operational during Thanksgiving week. The casino complex closed earlier this month to accommodate essential maintenance requiring full power outages. The specifics of the upgrades were not outlined.
Silver Star was already in the process of undergoing elevator upgrades and guest room renovations in planned phases to minimize disruptions for guests.
