Simpson County 13-year-old killed in ATV wreck over weekend

A Mississippi teen was killed in an ATV accident over the weekend in Simpson County.

Law enforcement officials say a 13-year-old was riding an ATV on private land in the Ole Pearl Community where the vehicle is said to have overturned.

Simpson County first responders treated the unidentified boy on the scene, but he eventually succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
