Singing River Health System is partnering with William Carey University to designate Ocean Springs Hospital as a collection site for DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

On Saturday, October 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the hospital’s pharmacy team will be collecting prescription drugs in the parking lot of the Ocean Springs location.

National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs.

Singing River Health System is encouraging people to clean out their medicine cabinets and safely turn in any unused prescription drugs at the collection site.

Those planning to stop by the Ocean Springs location on Saturday are instructed to look for the signs for the collection site, drive up, and drop off their items.
