Southern Miss lands at No. 17 in the latest D1Baseball rankings

In the latest D1Baseball rankings, Southern Miss came in at No. 17.

The Golden Eagles (38-14, 20-7 Conference USA) dropped three spots after a 2-2 week that consisted of a midweek loss to Ole Miss and a series win over UTSA. The Rebels (31-19, 13-14 SEC), who remain unranked, continued their hot streak with a sweep of then-No. 17 LSU over the weekend.

For Mississippi State (25-27, 9-18 SEC), the season continues to get worse as the Bulldogs have now lost nine in a row.
