UPDATE: Rep. DeKeither Stamps’ daughter, Kristian, was safely located Wednesday afternoon in Bay County, Fla.
Mississippi State Representative DeKeither Stamps is asking the public for help in locating his daughter.
Stamps, D-Jackson, posted on Facebook Tuesday evening that his 17-year-old daughter, Kristian Stamps, is missing. Kristian was last seen in Enterprise, Ala. driving a 2008 Honda Accord.
In a Wednesday morning update, Rep. Stamps said that he has been in contact with all levels of law enforcement as the search for Kristian continues.
“If anybody has contact with my daughter, please let her know I’m coming for you. We will find you and we will get you to safety. My goal in all of this is one that she’s safe and that we can get through this together as a family,” Stamps said. “The folks my daughter is with, just know I’m coming for her. And we’re going to scour the whole earth until we find her. So, it would behoove anybody who is with her to encourage her to come home.”
