High school football is finally here, and SuperTalk Mississippi Media is keeping up with every snap throughout the season.
Beginning Friday, Aug. 29, STMM will broadcast 19 games each week on the company’s talk and music stations. After the action, the statewide Mississippi Farm Bureau High School Scoreboard Show will air simultaneously from 10-11:30 p.m. on STMM’s 12 talk stations and feature recaps, analyses, and interviews with players and coaches from the top games.
This year’s game lineup includes Brookhaven High School, Clarkdale High School, Corinth High School, Gulfport High School, Hartfield Academy, Indianola Academy, Lafayette High School, Loyd Star High School, Magnolia Heights, Ocean Springs High School, North Pike High School, Pillow Academy, Petal High School, Senatobia High School, Starkville Academy, Starkville High School, Tupelo Christian, Water Valley High School, and the Jones County Game of the Week.
“High school football is one of the best things about our state. SuperTalk Mississippi Media offers just about the closest look fans can get at all the action,” STMM program director Will East said. “We’re thrilled to be airing 19 games each week this season and then covering every, single team statewide through the Mississippi Farm Bureau High School Scoreboard Show, now in its third decade as the longest-running scoreboard show in the state.”
The newest team to join STMM’s Friday night lineup is Hartfield, which has won back-to-back MAIS 6A state championships. The Hawks will air on SuperTalk Jackson 97.3 WFMN and SuperTalk TV, with the full lineup of teams and their corresponding stations as follows:
