A man is in custody following a weekend shooting at a nightclub in Columbus.
Police confirmed that Daryl Hill has been arrested in connection to the shooting that took place at Club Ada on Sunday morning around 1 a.m. An anonymous tip led officers to conclude that Hill was the responsible party in the incident.
An unidentified male victim was struck by a bullet during the shooting. A Good Samaritan at Club Ada is said to have seen the man standing beside a vehicle outside of the club while bleeding profusely and transported him to a local hospital to receive medical care.
Hill is charged with aggravated assault. He is being held at the Lowndes County Detention Center.
