The results are in and two of Mississippi’s museums have been named top five in America.
As part of USA TODAY/10Best’s reader poll, the Mississippi Children’s Museum ranked as the No. 3 children’s museum in the country while the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum came in at No. 4 for the category of best history museum.
“We are honored that the museum placed so high in the 2024 USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Travel Award Contest for Best History Museum,” Mississippi Civil Rights Museum Director Michael Morris said. “We are grateful for this national recognition of excellence.”
