Following Thursday night’s severe weather, thousands of power outages are being reported across Mississippi.
As of 5:30 a.m., the lights were still out for over 58,000 customers. Counties with the most outages:
- Rankin – 20,443
- Hinds – 9,743
- George – 5,320
- Scott – 3,599
