Tracking Mississippi prospects in 2020 NFL Draft

The 2020 NFL Draft is in the books and of the 255 selections, six played their college football in the state of Mississippi. 

Mississippi State led the way with 5 players taken and Southern Miss WR Quez Watkins was the lone selection from Southern Miss. Ole Miss did not have a player selected during this year’s draft. 

Mississippi State: 

  • LB Willie Gay – Kansas City Chiefs – Round 2, Pick 63

  • DB Cam Dantzler – Minnesota Vikings – Round 3, Pick 89 

  • OT Tyre Phillips – Baltimore Ravens – Round 3, Pick 106

  • QB Tommy Stevens – New Orleans Saints – Round 7, Pick 240 

  • DB Brian Cole II – Minnesota Vikings – Round 7, Pick 249

UDFAs:

  • WR Isaiah Zuber – New England Patriots
  • DB JaQuarius Landrews – New York Giants
  • WR Stephen Guidry – Dallas Cowboys
  • DE Chauncey Rivers – Baltimore Ravens
  • LB Leo Lewis – Pittsburgh Steelers
  • OL Darryl Williams – Kansas City Chiefs
  • TE Farrod Green – Indianapolis Colts
  • DL Lee Autry – Chicago Bears
  • OL Tommy Champion – Seattle Seahawks

Ole Miss: 

No Rebels were selected in the 2020 NFL Draft, but five have signed as undrafted free agents.

  • DL Benito Jones – Miami Dolphins
  • RB Scottie Phillips – Houston Texans
  • DB Myles Hartsfield – Carolina Panthers
  • DB Jalen Julius – Kansas City Chiefs

Southern Miss: 

  • WR Quez Watkins – Philadelphia Eagles – Round 6, Pick 200
