Ole Miss and Mississippi State fans eagerly counting down the days for college football’s return have been given a little glimpse of when their favorite teams will be playing games this season.
After receiving full schedules for the 2025 campaign back in December and time slots for the first three games in May, fans now have a general idea of when kickoff times for the full season will take place. Television time windows this season are in four categories: early (11 a.m. to noon CT start), afternoon (2:30 to 3:30 p.m. CT), night (5 to 7 p.m. CT), and flex (either between 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. or 5 to 7 p.m. CT).
Ole Miss
The Rebels will open the season with Georgia State at home on August 31, beginning at 6:45 p.m. Lane Kiffin and company will then travel to Kentucky on September 6 for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff in their first SEC battle of the year. Ole Miss will return home on September 13 to battle Arkansas at a nighttime slot. The ensuing September 13 home matchup against Tulane is in the flex category.
Moving to the middle of the schedule, Ole Miss will host bitter rival LSU in a revenge match on September 27 in the flex slot. After enjoying a week off, Ole Miss will welcome Washington State to Oxford on October 11 for an 11:45 a.m. kickoff. The Rebels will then begin a road stint with a flex-time game at Georgia on October 18, occurring ahead of an October 25 contest at Oklahoma, slated to begin in the early slot.
The red and blue will return to Oxford to take on South Carolina on November 1 in the flex slot before a November 8 nonconference game versus The Citadel at noon. Ole Miss will play its eighth and final home game on November 15, with Florida set to appear in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in the flex slot. Kiffin’s group will conclude the regular season in an Egg Bowl matchup at Mississippi State on Black Friday after a bye week. The rivalry game is slated to start at 11 a.m.
