Severe weather struck in North Mississippi last night.
According to the National Weather Service, a tornado touched down in Tishomingo County around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
WTVA states that minor injuries were reported. Live Storms Media was able to capture video of the powerful storm sending debris flying through the air and bringing trees and power lines down.

A Dollar General in the area was severely damaged. Charles Peek, a storm chaser for the Weather Channel, shared the following photos of the scene.
