Mississippi State named Tommy Stevens as starting quarterback last week, on Tuesday, Stevens spoke with the local media for the first time since claiming the job. Stevens made it clear, he’s pleased with the results and the victory he achieved by betting on himself.

Stevens will lead the Bulldogs into their season opener with Louisiana in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Saturday, kickoff at 11 AM.
