Northern Mississippi
Today will be sunny with highs in the lower 60s. Tonight will be mostly clear with lows in the lower 30s.
Central Mississippi
Today will be sunny with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a chance of rain and lows in the lower 40s.
Southern Mississippi
Today will be sunny and warmer with a chance of afternoon showers. Highs will be in the lower 70s. Tonight will be mostly cloudy and warmer with possible showers. Lows will be in the lower 50s.
The National Weather Service is calling it Weekend Weather Whiplash. After a brief warm-up to end this week, a cold front will usher in a quick rush of Arctic air Sunday into Monday. Temps are expected to be in the 15-20 degree range on Monday morning.
