While it will be hot outside, there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms pretty much all day. Highs should hover around 95 degrees, with heat index readings landing between 104 and 109 degrees. Come nighttime, there could be some cloudage as temperatures look to drop into the 70s.
Central Mississippi
Sunshine is expected, but there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. Highs will be in the lower to mid 90s, with heat index readings between 103 and 108 degrees. Come nighttime, there will be a chance of showers as lows will be in the 70s.
Southern Mississippi
Like the rest of the state, sunshine is expected but not without the chance of showers. Highs will be in the lower 90s, but it will feel hotter than 100 degrees outside. Come nighttime, there will be another chance of storms as lows will be in the 70s.
