Another bout of moderate to occasionally heavy rainfall is expected starting this afternoon into early Saturday. According to the National Weather Service, the highest rainfall totals will be along and south of the I-20 corridor, where 1-3 inches of rainfall is expected. It will be mostly cloudy with a chance of afternoon showers and highs near 70. Tonight will be mostly cloudy with showers likely. Lows will be near 50.
Central Mississippi
Today will be mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid-60s. Showers and thunderstorms will continue tonight, with lows in the lower 50s.
Southern Mississippi
It will be cooler today, with showers and thunderstorms likely and highs in the upper 60s. Showers and thunderstorms are possible tonight, with lows in the lower 50s.
