Isolated severe storms are possible in some areas of our state tonight and Saturday. Damaging winds and hail up to the size of a quarter will be the main threats associated with these storms.

Northern Mississippi–

Partly sunny, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms through this afternoon. Highs will be in the mid-80s. Becoming mostly cloudy tonight with more showers and thunderstorms possible. Lows will be in the mid-60s.

Central Mississippi–

Patchy morning fog, then mostly sunny with hit-and-miss showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 80s. Becoming mostly cloudy tonight with only a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, lows will be in the upper 60s.

Southern Mississippi–

Patchy morning fog, then mostly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Highs will be near 90. Partly cloudy tonight, with lows near 70.
